Middle school showcase for Project Lead The Way students to present their adaptive toy designs for a child with cerebral palsy

In Project Lead The Way’s middle school Design & Modeling unit, students learn the engineering design process, critical measurement and mathematical modeling skills, computer-aided design software, and about cerebral palsy.

The final project of PLTW’s Design & Modeling course challenges students to design, test, and fabricate an adaptive toy for a child with cerebral palsy. At the showcase students will present their projects to doctors and patients of the cerebral palsy unit of Boston Children’s Hospital and receive real-world feedback.
