TURNERS FALLS — Turners Falls High School has received a $40,000 grant from the Mass STEM Hub and the One8 Foundation “to bring the hands-on engineering curriculum from Project Lead The Way (PLTW) to their school,” as announced in a press release last week.

The three-year grant will allow the school to implement three new engineering elective courses. Starting this fall, students may enroll in Project Lead The Way’s Introduction to Engineering Design course. Two more courses will be added later: Principles of Engineering and Computer Integrated Manufacturing.
